Strawberry Balsamic Vinaigrette

Strawberry season demands we use these delicious berries every way we can! This salad dressing will brighten any green salad with berry goodness.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced fresh or thawed from frozen
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 Tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown sugar light
  • ¼ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • teaspoon white pepper or to taste

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a small blender or food processor.
    1 cup strawberries, sliced, 3 Tablespoons Olive oil, extra virgin, 1 Tablespoon Balsamic vinegar, 1 Tablespoon Honey, 1 Tablespoon Brown sugar, ¼ teaspoon salt, ⅛ teaspoon white pepper
  • Blend at medium to high speed until well mixed, about one minute.
  • Taste the dressing and adjust with more sweetener or vinegar, as needed.

Notes

If your strawberries are bursting with sweet flavor, mix the dressing without honey and taste before adding any more sweetener.
