- 1 unbaked pie crust for a 9-inch pie
- 1¼ cup walnuts chopped
- 1¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup flour all-purpose
- ½ cup butter 1 stick, melted and cooled
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
- 2 TB bourbon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350F.
Shape pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate and crimp the edges.
Spread chocolate chips and chopped walnuts evenly into the crust-lined plate.
In a medium bowl, stir together the sugar and flour. Add eggs, melted butter, vanilla and bourbon. Stir until smooth. Pour on top of chocolate chip/walnut layer.
Bake in 350F oven for 40-45 minutes, or until set.
Allow to cool fully before cutting.
