Berry Sauce from Frozen Berries

An easy 2 ingredient sauce. Perfect on pancakes, crepes and waffles, or cheesecake and other desserts.

Ingredients

  • 9 oz frozen raspberries or strawberries about 2 cups
  • cup jam strawberry or raspberry

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan heat jam and frozen berries on medium heat. Continue heating until berries begin to break up and sauce starts to simmer. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, for one minute. Remove from heat.
  • If desired, use an immersion blender to break up any remaining berry pieces.
  • Allow sauce to cool before use.
