Keto BBQ sauce

This low carb BBQ sauce is smokey and sweet with just a little heat. Fantastic on chicken or pork!

Ingredients

  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 6 oz can water
  • 3 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
  • cup sugar-free brown sugar I use Swerve
  • 1 Tablespoon molasses
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard prepared
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • ¼ teaspoon chipotle chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt

Instructions

  • Whisk all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
    6 oz can tomato paste, 6 oz can water, 3 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar, 2 Tablespoons Worchestershire sauce, ⅓ cup sugar-free brown sugar, 1 Tablespoon molasses, 2 teaspoons yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon liquid smoke, ¼ teaspoon chipotle chili powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 2 teaspoons onion powder, 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • Bring to a boil and then lower heat. Simmer 15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, transfer to a bowl or jar with lid. Cover and chill for one hour for best flavor.
