- 2 ounces tequila silver
- 1½ ounce Cointreau orange liqueur
- 1 ounce prickly pear syrup
- 1 ounce lime juice
For garnish
- 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon simple or agave syrup or use the lime wedge
- Lime wedges
Mix turbinado sugar and kosher salt in a small cup. Spread out onto a small plate.

Moisten the rim of the glass with agave syrup (water or simple syrup also work), then dip into the sugar/salt mixture to coat.

Add tequila, Cointreau, prickly pear syrup and lime juice to an ice filled cocktail shaker. Cover and shake vigorously.

Fill the prepared glass with ice, then strain the cocktail over the ice to fill the glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy.
