In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oil and eggs. Stir until a smooth dough forms. Cover and refrigerate at least 15 minutes to firm the dough.

Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make 1-inch balls of the chilled dough and place on the baking sheet, spaced 2-3 inches apart.

To add additional sprinkles, flatten the top of the dough slightly with the back of spoon and then add about ¼ teaspoon of sprinkles. The flattening helps prevent the sprinkles from simply rolling off the dough.

Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven.

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
