No matter what kind of gathering you have, a party mix is always well received. I like mixes with a little "something for everyone" with a variety of flavors and textures. This no bake version delivers, with goldfish crackers, pretzels and bugles, all seasoned with the flavors of ranch. Delish!

    Ingredient list - full recipe

    • Mini pretzels (10 ounces)
    • Bugles (12 ounces)
    • Goldfish crackers (6 ounces)
    • Cashews (10 ounces)
    • Dry ranch mix (1 envelope)
    • Canola oil (½ cup)

How to make this Ranch Party Mix

Nothing could be easier than this. Basically, mix everything together and serve. LOL.

ranch party mix in football shaped bowls

You will notice that the ingredients are in commonly available sizes. You should be able to buy a bag of each item and just dump it all in a big bowl - no measuring!!

However, this recipe really does make a TON. Like, "you shouldn't be having gatherings this big during a pandemic" size. If making the entire recipe, you will need 2 large mixing bowls to mix and hold it all.

But I have found that it is really easy to make a half batch of this. It's still a LOT of snack goodness in a big bowl. And the proportions aren't super critical so you can just eyeball adding about half of each ingredient. The only things I measure are the dry ranch seasoning (2 tablespoons for a half batch) and the canola oil (¼ cup for a half batch).

How to Store the Ranch Party Mix

The good news is, this snack mix does keep. Simply store in airtight containers and you will be able to snack on it for quite a while. It's very convenient to make a day or two before your party, store it in a large container and simply open and pour into a serving bowl when needed.

    So yummy!

    Variations

You can definitely vary this with your favorite munchies. I sometimes like to add corn chips for a little "extra" touch. I prefer to add the corn chips after everything else is mixed. This is because corn chips are already oily enough, don't need to add any canola oil to those chips!!

Mixed nuts could be substituted for the cashews, or the nuts could be eliminated if nut allergies are an issue. I might actually increase the nuts in my next batch, because we love them so much in this house.

Instead of Goldfish crackers, maybe try some Cheezits. Oyster crackers would also work well. Use your favorites!

This ranch party mix is a guaranteed hit!

Ranch is a basic food group, IMO, so I am totally making this and eating all of it, gathering or not! LOL And I love how easy this party mix is, that makes it even better!

Gonna throw my 2 cents in here… fab as-is but here is how I like it… unsalted cashews, Snyder’s pretzel rounds ( little pretzel balls that are way less salty) then everything else the same. I mix the oil and ranch together first in my ninja, then put all the ingredients into a kitchen trash bag with lots of air in it and mix it that way! Then I bag it up!

We have recently just discovered Bugles. Crazy, I know! But my kids LOVE them and I needed another recipe to use them in. This is perfect and the kids loved it! Perfect for an after school snack or for movie night.

The mix really does keep very well, so you could probably make a half batch and store it for periodic nibbling!

Okay, this recipe sounds delicious as hell, and Bugles are the bomb.com, BUT in reading this recipe headline, I was expecting some creamy Ranch dip to dip Bugles in! I feel mislead and taken advantage of. The public deserves a statement from you.

LOLOLOL it is ranch FLAVORS. Much safer than a dip - think of the risk of "double dipping." I'm saving you from that. You're welcome!
