Key Recipe Takeaways
- This drink is so easy and refreshing! Sweet and tart lemonade is spiked with vodka and Limoncello, then frozen to slushie perfection.
- No blender required! The alcohol prevents the liquid from freezing solid, so it's easy to scoop right out of the freezer.
- Because you make it up ahead, it can just sit in your freezer until you need it. Scoop it when someone drops in, or just for yourself after a long hot day.

How to Make this Frozen Lemonade Slush
These make ahead slushies are the easy thing ever, I swear!
Just mix the ingredients in a freezer-safe container: lemonade concentrate, vodka (I used lemon flavor, but unflavored is just fine too), Limoncello, and some lemonade. Stir well to evenly mix and ensure the lemonade concentrate has melted.

Cover and place the container in the freezer for several hours. I typically leave it overnight. The mixture should freeze and look crystalline, but still be scoop-able.
Whenever you want a delicious beverage, just scoop some of the slush into your glass and top with some soda, sparkling water, or lemonade.
And enjoy!
Serving Suggestions
I love to serve these with a slice of lemon and of course some fun colored cocktail straws. Feel free to add a little umbrella to really give your drink a beachy vibe. ⛱️
I typically use a lemon-lime soda to top the drink, but sparkling water or lemonade work just as well, so you do you!
Storage
Frozen slush drinks are the most convenient drinks ever, you simply make up a batch and keep it in the freezer until you're ready to scoop. It'll be good in the freezer for about 3 months. (but I doubt that it'll last that long!)

I simply adore these slush drinks, they are so convenient and fun! There's a combination for just about everyone, depending upon what kind of liquor you most prefer.
- Brandy - my parents always had an ice cream pail of brandy slush in the freezer all summer long. I guess that's where it all started for me!
- Rum - in college, my roommate shared HER family's recipe for daiquiri slush. I also made a version of this for the holidays: cranberry daiquiri slush.
- Vodka - this version of course, but also used in my red, white, and blue vodka slush (perfect for 4th of July) and cranberry orange vodka slush, because slushies are great for the holidays too!
- Tequila - because who can argue with a delicious frozen margarita slush?
