How to Make this Witches Brew Halloween Punch
This witches brew is so easy, and you can mix a single cocktail for yourself and/or your boo, or an entire punch bowl for a party.
You only need 3 ingredients: melon liqueur, orange juice, and lemon-lime soda. And they are basically all needed in the same quantity.
So, if you want to fill a 6-ounce martini or coupe glass, simply use 2 ounces of each of the ingredients.
To fill my punch bowl, I used 3 cups of each. This mostly filled the bowl and left enough room for ice to be added.
💭Top tip: place the bottle of melon liqueur in the fridge with the orange juice and soda the day before the party. If you chill all ingredients in advance, the ice will be slower to melt. ❄️

The really fun part is embellishing the punch. I did a combination of eyeballs and spiders.
For the eyeballs I used blueberries which I inserted into lychee fruit as well as in honeydew melon balls. The eyeballs do not always float, nor do they want to face up all the time, but they still manage to convey a creepy quality to the punch.
I also used plastic spiders in ice cubes.
I basically froze the spiders IN the cubes, so that as the cubes floated and slowly melted, the spiders were also floating on top of the punch. You've gotta love the effect!
If you do this, be sure to warn your guests that the spiders are not edible!

Is there a way to make this a mocktail? That way kids can enjoy it as well as people who can't have alcohol for one reason or another.
Thanks.
Sula
Sure, you can skip the Midori liqueur and use a little more lemon-lime soda, then add a couple drops of green food coloring. Happy Halloween!
